Autumn is truly my favourite season. The changing leaves, chunky jumpers and indulging in a moderate hot chocolate addiction. Thereā€™s a homely cosiness feel to it and I am all here for it.

This autumn will be different thanks to You Know What but that doesnā€™t mean we canā€™t make the most of it. Here are some Minimum Mouse ideas to get into that autumn feel:
Go on a walk. Find a park or wooded trail and soak the falling leaves and crisp air in. Not only are you getting some exercise and fresh air it's also the perfect chance for a few pics for the gram.
Get the slow cooker out. Nothing makes me feel better on a cold autumn night than a hearty stew or a homemade soup. Perfect for everyone from home chefs to those short on time - just grab your ingredients and chuck it in! We all have our go to's, in our house itā€™s a classic leek and potato soup - yum.
Star Gazing. On a clear night, grab your chunky knit scarf, wrap up warm and go outside - you don't have to go far, the garden will do. There are some awesome apps available to help you spot constellations and there's nothing better than the feeling of seeing your first one. Along with the constellations come the brilliant tales that explain them, perfect for gathering the family or friends, wrapping up warm and having a story time sesh.
Bake cinnamon buns. This one may sound odd but when the buns heat up and the cinnamon bun smell fills your house you will feel cosy. Even better, you get a tasty treat afterwards! Make your own or buy a frozen pack.Ā
Self care. I mean this. You, reading this, take some time out for yourself. I like to do this by cosying up with a book, a snuggly blanket and a hot chocolate. Sometimes, I'll treat myself to a new pair of socks! I'm currently considering buying these bright dino ones:
Punky Pins Stegosaurus Dinosaur Cotton SocksĀ
Whatever you do, we hope you have a lovely autumn and take care of yourself.Ā
Wishing you a warm, cosy autumn Ā  Ā ā¤ļø Ā  Elise, Team Mouse
