This is a gorgeous original 1950's day dress, in a beautiful cotton fabric. It has the classic fifties silhouette, with fitted bodice, nipped in at the waist with a full knee length skirt. The fabric is so pretty in cream, blue and coral pattern. 

Size – This dress measures up as an approx. modern size 8-10, please see the measurements below to decide if it will be suitable for you. Zip fastening to the back of the neck and the side of the waistband.

Measurements (taken with garment lying flat) – armpit to armpit 18”, across waist 13.5”, length from top of strap to hem 39"

Condition – This dress is in excellent vintage condition, especially for an item of its age. It is hand sewn. It looks like the zips have been replaced at some point. The fabric is a little faded to the upper, as you can see the coral stripe on the front of the dress is a little lighter than the coral sections of the skirt. Please remember this is a vintage item and has been worn and loved before, we think this is part of what gives vintage its unique charm but please be aware of this and don’t expect perfection, though we will make every effort to note any specific issues or damage.
